This is an exchange with a classmate who I only recently discovered was a Christian.

Dear Linda,

I am sending a writing from Paul Anderson-Walsh, an English pastor who visited me during the summer. He has great insights as to the fullness of the finished work of Christ. Hope you enjoy it!

I was able to read it in peace this AM Dee Dee. Thanks!  I enjoyed his insights.  We are all works in progress!

Glad you enjoyed it. We are finished works in His eyes. Now the “faith to faith” and “glory to glory” is just the process of Him renewing our minds to the truth about us…that ALL has been made right about us and it is Christ living His life through us!

I surely do feel that way!  I try so hard, but I still find myself SINNING!  Just can’t stop sometimes!  I quit white bread however!  Lol

Dear Linda,

You are no different than most of the Christian world who have been repeatedly told they are sinners. In fact, in truth, you are not that! Paul NEVER once wrote to sinners, but to saints. That’s YOU! It is really very hard to commit sin. Most of what folks feel condemned about is temptation…and temptation ONLY. For a thing to be sin we must make a conscious choice to go against God. That is strong.

How about focusing on Jude 24…Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy…

Keep your eyes on Jesus and you will walk in the new freedom of Rom.8:1…Now there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus…That’s YOU again! Of course, that does mean NO white bread!!!
