The Gift is a Gift is a Gift is a Gift
by Fred Pruitt

This follows along with "God All in all & Choice" from recently.

What follows after losing one's life is finding it again.

Having been given it back, whole, complete, entire.

You are in utter awe and a state of praise and thanksgiving, at the Gift, too wonderful almost to believe, so wonderful it breaks your mind to believe it.

When Jesus declared Himself in his hometown synagogue in Nazareth, it broke their minds and drove them to anger.

No one had dared declare Himself the Messiah before. Or at least if some had they'd been crazy or deceivers. No Messiah had EVER come. Oh sure, they "believed in" the idea of the Messiah. But not a real one, and especially not a real one in Billy Bob that lives down the street.

Here's this carpenter's son is telling these folks that the Messiah had COME, and it was HE who was standing before them at that moment.

It was just too good, too real, to right-there-at-that-moment, to be true.

Yet it was true. Messiah had come, and was standing in their midst. God right there was too much to handle. Most people like God to stay away up in heaven.

Today He has come in you. When He comes He rips open the veil of the temple, He opens the way into the inmost Heaven of heavens, where God dwells as the fountainhead, out of which pours all.

What He comes to tell you in your heart and in your mind is that death is swallowed up of life and that He has completed by His death the total and complete Resurrection to Life and brought us with Him to the same inmost place where He has gone to reside in the midst of the Throne of the Father, where He sits as Lamb and King, and that just there in His own bosom dwell we also, in the Seat of Mercy, held in the heart of God in love.

When the dawn comes and the first rays of light come, it seems a long time until some particular moment when direct sunlight suddenly fills the whole countryside all at once, but it comes, and like lightning it is day. Light completely swallows up dark.

This is the Gift He has given in His resurrection. To walk in the Day of the Lord, to be always the forefront of the outpouring of mercy and love from the throne of grace. Not by anything we can do, but by His power and Spirit Who works in us.

When the veil is done away, God is revealed. The veil has been done away, which means that everywhere we look God is all we see. The Gift is Christ being Himself in ourselves. A Gift beyond price, the actual Pearl of Great Price, which we have sold all we had to get but in the end it was given to us since we couldn't get it by even selling all we had.

The Gift is too precious to purchase, for nothing could approach its value.

It is the Gift of the Life of Christ manifest in our flesh, to live or to die, to be weak or to be strong, to be uneasy with fret, to question, to rail with rage, to cry tears, to be icy, to see death swallowed up of Life in every portion of the Universe, my own private one as well as the one "out there," so that the Gift of Life has replaced the kingdom of fear, and grace declares Him King in all.

To do that and to believe it and to declare it is to do the same He did that morning at Nazareth. It's saying God is right HERE, RIGHT NOW, right here in THIS FLESH, and that's a little too close for comfort. A little too threatening.

But that is the too good to be true thing about the veil being done away. This Day God has begotten you His son, to be the Daystar from on High where you live. Messiah is manifest, right now, in this particular flesh.

No one can believe that. They have to hold seminars, write books, develop theories and debate them back and forth, but no, they can't have a Messiah right here right now. We KNOW Moses spoke from God (5000 years ago), but we don't know you!"

"IF ye believe Moses, ye would believe Me."

"16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." (2 Cor 3)

The Gift is that all you see is God in Spirit and Liberty and with OPEN face we behold the Lord only to be finding OURSELVES CHANGED INTO THE SAME IMAGE from glory to glory AND that it is by NOTHING that we did, but by the Spirit of the Lord.

The Gift is a Gift is a Gift is a Gift.

The Veil is Done Away and we believe, "Fear not little flock, for it is your Father's Good Pleasure to give you the kingdom." Because when you have the Father's heart then you know the Father's Love, and in knowing the Father's love, you see how everything from the foundation of the earth has been to give you the Gift of HIS KINGDOM, where only HE who is Love is King, and now the kingdom of God isn't something you appropriate but something you give away since it can't stay held in your hands anyway.

The Gift is God in Christ being Himself in this present moment by pure grace as you.

This day --

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

2000 or so years ago that was the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

Now that's still His Life, only now He has birthed Himself in you by His Spirit. So TODAY that's YOUR life. Not by anything you can do. Not by any strength you possess. But by the Spirit of God.
