My Father's Business
by Linda Bunting

Linda, am I talking to you? Who ever sends these, I cannot say with Paul or with Moses, that I would be accursed for the lost. But I can say in honesty that my passion over Jesus, the Spirit, and our Father - and my passion for the lost consumes my thoughts. Jesus came seeking them, Linda.

How are we seeking them? Are we seeking them? Are we united in that cause?
Where, in our worship service is the also common to us urgency for the lost to meet Him? Again, I do not find it in me that I would actually be accursed for the lost in the world. Do you? Me as Christ? Christ through me? Me as Holy Spirit empowered for ministry? What I do know is He comes when I share Him to the lost. I believe He will do that, perhaps must better, through your lips as well. But we must dare to share. Does not His love impel us in that direction? Securely in Him and He in me: I cling, He embraces.

Yes, you are writing to me; Linda Bunting.
And yes, a thousands times yes, I can and do say what Paul said in Rom. 9 verse 1 because you see, it is not me living but Christ living in me, and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God.
He is working in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure and wherever He goes in me, I go.

There was a day when I would not have understood those words much less able to speak them.... But when the Spirit revealed His Son in me, and became my life, I found Christ in a new and living way; no longer about my Father's business but being my Father's business. So, for me to live IS Christ and where He decides to go in and as me, I go.

Many blessings and love in Jesus,
